Our Commercial Litigation team has a broad track record in managing contentious matters across a wide spectrum of commercial relationships, transactions, and tortious claims.
The team is led by a synergetic team of partners, Lim Yee Ming, Pua Lee Siang, Harry Zheng, Jasmine Yong and Bryan Chan, who have combined significant experience in handling contentious matters that include contractual and shareholder disputes, employment-related claims, matters involving management corporations, and high-stakes banking and insolvency litigation.
We have also acted in complex cases involving allegations of fraud, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duties, including that arising from financial distress. In insolvency scenarios, we work closely with liquidators, receivers, and judicial managers to preserve company assets and pursue claims against parties whose misconduct may have contributed to the insolvency.
Harry Zheng and Bryan Chan are also keenly involved in arbitration and international disputes. We represent clients in both institutional and ad hoc arbitration proceedings, covering disputes governed by a variety of international arbitration rules including SIAC, ICC and UNCITRAL Rules.
The team has successfully handled multi-jurisdictional arbitration matters involving construction, joint ventures, shareholder disputes, and commercial agreements, with a particular focus on disputes in the ASEAN and Greater China region. Our ability to navigate complex procedural and substantive issues, combined with deep regional familiarity, allows us to provide strategic, result-oriented representation in arbitration forums.
