Fong Kiew is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore with Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and an Accredited Tax Advisor with Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited. She has over two decades of cumulative tax consulting experience with reputable international accounting firms advising corporates as well as individuals, covering global and regional transactions. Fong Kiew is regularly involved in advising clients on holding companies and international tax structures, corporate transactions, business taxation, compliance and setting up overseas, taxation of expatriates as well as employee benefits.
In light of an increasing requirement to disclose and put in place contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation on related party transactions, she also assists clients to comply with these requirements, analyze and remediate the impact that these requirements may have on the clients’ global tax footprint.
Fong Kiew previously held leadership role in a mid-sized accounting firm where she led her team in helping clients to develop compliant and sustainable tax strategies that can respond to business complexities and contribute to the clients’ optimized overall tax position. She also served as the Chair of the Asia Pacific Tax Practice within this international network of firms and she played a key role in bringing together tax know-how from various jurisdictions for the benefit of the clients.
