Jasmin Kang

Jasmin specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. She advises on a wide spectrum of matters that involve, amongst other things, building and construction claims, breach of directors’ duties, minority oppression claims as well as general contractual disputes.
 
In her practice, Jasmin has acted for institutional and individual clients in proceedings before the Singapore Courts, and in arbitrations conducted under the SIAC as well as GAFTA rules. Clients have often shown appreciation for her quick turnaround time as well as her ability to deliver practical solutions.
 
Jasmin is also experienced in criminal law and has acted for accused persons in various matters, including a Court of Appeal case that brought about a review of the sentencing framework for sexual offences. As a keen advocate of social responsibility with a strong belief in giving back, Jasmin regularly takes on pro bono matters under the auspices of the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme.
