John handles commercial and corporate matters for the firm's clients in Vietnam. He has particular expertise in Vietnam's electricity and energy sectors, as well as the labor law. John also provides counsel on litigation matters. Prior to joining Kelvin Chia Partnership, John advised foreign investors involved with renewable energy projects in Vietnam. John also has practiced law in New York City, where he handled both transactional work and litigation. In addition to law, John has studied the economics and politics of Vietnam, China, and the ASEAN region.
