Jesu joined the Firm in 2010 as a Senior Associate from a leading law firm in Singapore.
Jesu read law at the University of Leeds, and the National University of Singapore and is called to the Singapore Bar. Jesu’s principal areas of practice encompass corporate and commercial litigation, employment, defamation, property litigation and commercial arbitration. He has argued and assisted in several civil cases in the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic and is a mentor to the Singapore Bar exam trainees for their civil procedure case management project.

Notable Cases & Transactions
1. Advised a major US aviation insurer in subrogated claim in a cross-border dispute (in arbitration) concerning liability of the insurer under insurance policies and liability of the insured and its contractor under aircraft management agreements in tort respectively.
2. Advised and represented the world's largest educational assessment and research organisation in several matters including (a) a potential 3rd party infringement of its trademarks and (b) a claim brought against it by a local entity for an alleged breach of a license agreement.
3. Advised a Singapore listed company in relation to (a) its project financing claim against a large Dutch bank and (b) its USD142 million term loan facility arrangement.
4. Advised and represented a former officer of a large multi-level marketing company in several maters including an action involving (a) a multi-level marketing trade dispute, and (b) a defamation action against his former employers.
5. Advised a Singapore listed company in relation to investigations commenced against it by the Commercial Affairs Department for alleged fraudulent and deceptive practices involving the Securities and Futures Act.
6. Acted for China Aviation Oil (Corporation) Ltd. in a suit against a subsidiary of the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc for alleged misrepresentation and breach of fiduciary duties in relation to the restructuring of its oil options portfolio.
7. Advised one the world’s leading suppliers of concrete in several actions (both litigation and arbitration proceedings) relating to the sale and supply of sand.
8. Advised and represented the owner of a prominent print and dye business in several separate claims against a Singapore listed company including an action for (a) an employment claim, and (b) a breach of an investment agreement.
9. Advised and assisted a prominent Indonesian businessman in relation to (a) a SGD 330 million dollar defamation action and (b) his claim against an Indonesia listed entity for breach of trust and contract.
10. Advised and represented one of the world’s largest chemical company in an action involving a dispute surrounding amongst others an exclusive distributorship agreement.
