Since joining Kelvin Chia Partnership, Emma has advised on a wide variety of Vietnamese related business transactions and foreign investments. These include the establishment of representative and branch offices, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, joint venture enterprises, share subscriptions, charter capital increases, mergers and acquisitions, contract reviews and legal due diligence exercises. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin which helps her to better communicate with a wide array of clientele and better understand their needs.

Prior to joining the firm, Emma gained broad exposure to legal issues in the United States. While at Washington University in St. Louis, she interned for the Twenty Second Judicial Circuit of Missouri. She also spent one year in New York, during which time she worked on projects for Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as well as Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, both of which are prestigious New York law firms.
