Since joining the firm’s corporate department, Bernard has been engaged in a variety of projects involving a range of commercial issues with specific emphasis on joint venture investments and Vietnamese real estate development. As part of the regional practice group, Bernard has worked with other members of the team to help multinational corporations establish joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned entities in a range of jurisdictions, conducted due diligence and structured commercial contracts and arrangements to suit specific business needs.

Prior to joining KCP, Bernard gained exposure to a diverse array of legal practice areas in the United States. While at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, he clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Missouri and the Arkansas Supreme Court as well as interned with one of Boston, Massachusetts’ largest law firms.
