As a young member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department, Irene has been exposed to a full range of legal issues in both domestic and regional transactions. As part of her corporate portfolio, Irene has assisted clients in various industries with general corporate legal advice, reviewing and drafting contracts tailored to the clients’ commercial needs, and assisting with employment, labour and immigration laws and regulations.

Having been trained in one of China’s top law schools and receiving her post graduate degree in the US, Irene is well equipped to understand cross-cultural issues and is comfortable working with clients from various backgrounds. As a member of our Regional Practice, she has worked closely with local lawyers in multiple jurisdictions and gained valuable hands-on legal knowledge. In particular, Irene has obtained important know-how regarding the laws of Vietnam through her stint with our Ho Chi Minh City office.

Irene’s multilingual skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese also help her to better communicate with clients and understand their needs.
